Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, while providing detailed information on investment possibilities in Chhattisgarh to the Korea International Trade Association and investors at the Chhattisgarh Investor Connect program held in Seoul, the capital of South Korea today, said that Chhattisgarh is fully prepared for global investment and industrial cooperation with its pro-active and development-oriented industrial policy 2024–30, abundant natural resources and trained manpower.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Korean brands are a part of every Indian household. Companies like LG, Samsung, Hyundai have reached every village. Chhattisgarh has abundant water, energy, iron ore and steel and excellent connectivity. These resources open new doors of opportunity for South Korean investors.
Chief Minister Shri Sai assured the investors that the state government will provide support to every investor at every level through single-window clearance, ease of doing business and industry-friendly policies. The Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh is today welcoming global investment in sectors like minerals, energy, steel, food processing, electronics manufacturing and IT-startups.
Chief Minister Shri Sai also underlined that Chhattisgarh’s development model is not limited to industrial progress only, but it is focused on providing employment to the youth, self-reliance to women and better value for the produce to the farmers. He said that along with industrial investment, social empowerment is also our priority.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai met the Ambassador of India, Shri Amit Kumar, at the Indian Embassy, Seoul and discussed the investment possibilities in Chhattisgarh in detail. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that we have discussed the possibilities of strong bilateral economic partnership, from steel and minerals to electronics and food processing.
Chief Minister Shri Sai, while highlighting the cultural and business relations between South Korea and Chhattisgarh, said that these partnerships will rapidly increase the transfer of technology, research and innovation and high value employment opportunities. He urged Korean investors to choose Chhattisgarh as their new industrial investment destination and become a part of this journey of shared prosperity.
On this occasion, senior officials of the state’s industry department and representatives of investment promotion agencies were present with the Chief Minister.
