Nandini Yadav of Raipur, who supports her family by doing daily wage work, is overjoyed today by getting her daughter Pratigya admitted to Chhattisgarh Public School, Tatibandh. This has been made possible by the Atal Utkrisht Shiksha Yojana launched on the initiative of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai.
Nandini Yadav says that she always wanted her children to study in English medium schools, but this dream was not being fulfilled due to limited financial condition. Seeing the other children in the house, she often thought that her daughter should also study in a good school. When Pratigya was selected in the Atal Utkrisht Shiksha Yojana, tears of joy welled up in her eyes. She said that this moment is unforgettable for me. This is the biggest gift of my life.
During the meeting with Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, Nandini Yadav shared her feelings. She said that now her daughter’s future will be brightened. Chief Minister Shri Sai also congratulated and wished Nandini Yadav, saying that this scheme will become a medium to provide better education and a new direction in life to the children of worker families.
Nandini told that daughter Pratigya has a big dream. She has always said that she wants to join the army and serve the country. This dream of the daughter is now on its way to becoming a reality. With studies in English medium and availability of better resources, she will be able to reach her goal. Chief Minister Shri Sai appreciated the girl’s thinking and said that the foundation of the country is strengthened by such dreams.
Sharing her happiness, Nandini Yadav said that not only the arrangement of the child’s education, but also she has got a pucca house from the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, a cooking gas connection from the Ujjwala Yojana and her mother-in-law has also received a sewing machine from the government. These schemes have changed the life of her family. She said that the government’s schemes have become a support for my family, this is the true Antyodaya.
She further said that due to the Chief Minister, my child is getting better education today. I have come to express my feelings to the Chief Minister. It is difficult to express this happiness in words. The people present were also influenced by the mother’s emotions. The Chief Minister assured her that the daughter’s education will be taken care of with full responsibility and the family will continue to receive support.
It is noteworthy that under the Atal Utkrisht Shiksha Yojana, the government takes full responsibility for education from class VI to XII. Nandini Yadav is now sure that her child’s future is secure. The support received from the Mahtari Vandan Yojana has given economic support to her family.
