Raipur May 30, 2025 // Bastar is rapidly moving forward on the path of development while preserving its rich cultural and historical heritage. Now, the development of every corner of Bastar will happen and all the obstacles coming in the way of development will be removed. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai was addressing the solution camp organized in Tongpal of Sukma district under the Good Governance Tihar today. During this, he announced development works worth more than Rs 500 crore in Sukma district and inaugurated various development works worth more than Rs 16 crore, giving a big gift to the people of the area. On this occasion, representatives of three-tier Panchayati Raj institutions, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Subodh Kumar Singh, Secretary to the Chief Minister Dr. Basav Raju S. were also present.
The Chief Minister said that I am very happy to be among you in the final phase of Sushasan Tihar. The atmosphere here is very beautiful and the beautiful shade of Mahua is giving coolness. He expressed his gratitude to everyone for the traditional welcome. Shri Sai said that the loud voice of change from Bastar has demoralized the Maoists. Maoism is now counting its last breaths in Bastar. The bells of schools are ringing in Sukma, known as Naxalgadh, children are fearlessly getting education. Shri Sai said that the objective of this statewide campaign is to evaluate the real situation of the schemes. Today, I have come to see whether the work of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is going on smoothly in your village or not, whether the amount of Mahtari Vandan Yojana is being received by mothers and sisters on time or not. He said that during Sushasan Tihar, he is taking special information on the availability of basic facilities.
The Chief Minister said that the Sushasan Tihar organized in three phases has been successful in its objective. The administration has solved your problems by working hard. Shri Sai said that only the government whose policy and intention are clear can do such work. We have worked honestly, that is why we are presenting our report card to the public. The Chief Minister said that women have become economically empowered with the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. We have approved pucca houses for the people through PM Awas in the entire state and ensured their right to a dignified life. We had approved 18 lakh houses in the first cabinet itself, this work is going on continuously. He said that we are buying 21 quintals of paddy per acre from the farmers at a price of Rs 3100 per quintal. The outstanding bonus amount of two years of paddy has also been given to the farmers. We are taking the people of the state on a pilgrimage to religious places through the Ramlala Darshan Yojana and the Chief Minister Tirth Darshan Yojana. He said that giving great relief to the tendu leaf collectors, the rate of remuneration has been approved at the rate of Rs 5000 per standard bag. The Chief Minister said that Atal Digital Suvidha Kendra has been started to ensure that villagers get banking facilities in the Panchayat Bhawan itself. This facility will be started in all the panchayats in the next one year.
*Reality of the schemes known*
The Chief Minister Shri Sai took feedback on the schemes by interacting with the villagers who reached the Tongpal solution camp. Triveni Rawte of Tongpal told the Chief Minister that she is getting the amount of Mahtari Vandan Yojana every month. She gave information about the use of this amount in the upbringing of children. Similarly, Smt. Vedmati Kashyap said that the sisters of our group do the work of sewing uniforms. They are earning more than one and a half lakh rupees annually from sewing the uniforms of the children of three Eklavya schools. Other people who reached the camp also put forward their demands and gave information about the benefits they are getting from the schemes.
