Raipur, August 16, 2025/Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai celebrated Janmashtami this time with the little children of the Anganwadi located in Barun Bazar, Raipur, the capital. The children, taking the form of Radha and Krishna, enlivened the program with their antics and charming costumes.
The festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated today with great enthusiasm and traditional reverence at the Chief Minister’s residence located in Raipur, the capital. The entire residence complex was decorated with flowers, colorful lights and decorations, which filled the atmosphere with devotion and joy.
In the program, small children presented tableaux and episodes of Krishna-lila. Their innocence and emotional acting captivated the hearts of all present. The Chief Minister’s residence was buzzing with the laughter and joy of the children.
Chief Minister Shri Sai performed worship of Lord Shri Krishna with the children and wished for the happiness, prosperity and continuous progress of the state. He said that the leela of Lord Shri Krishna inspires us to follow dharma, ethics and duty. The state is continuously progressing with the hard work and faith of the people of Chhattisgarh. Our resolve is to take Chhattisgarh to new heights of justice, harmony and development by taking inspiration from the teachings of Lord Shri Krishna. Chief Minister Shri Sai lovingly distributed chocolates, educational materials and prasad to all the children with his own hands.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that such cultural and religious events not only keep our traditions alive, but also connect the new generation with values. He extended his best wishes to all the people of the state on Shri Krishna Janmashtami.
On this occasion, Shri Ram Sevak Paikra, President of Chhattisgarh State Forest Development Corporation, Shri Sanjay Srivastava, President of Chhattisgarh State Civil Supplies Corporation, Mitul Kothari, Sunil Pille, officers and employees of the Chief Minister’s residence office and other dignitaries were present.
