Raipur, August 13, 2025/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said that the Tiranga Yatra is not just a program, but a great ritual of patriotism, which is a symbol of India’s unity, integrity and sovereignty. He said that the tricolor is our pride, and every citizen should be determined to protect and respect it. True tribute to the heroes of the freedom struggle will be paid only when the tricolor is hoisted in every house and India becomes more economically and culturally empowered.
Addressing the public with the slogans of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Chhattisgarh Mahatari Ki Jai’, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India is emerging as a strong and respected nation. He mentioned the courage and valor shown by our brave soldiers in ‘Operation Sindoor’ after the cowardly attack in Pahalgam, and said that it is a moment of pride for the entire country, which has further enhanced the glory of the tricolor.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that in the last one and a half years, the Chhattisgarh government has continuously dominated the Naxal-affected areas and ended the dominance of the Naxals. He said that where once the red flag of the Naxals used to be hoisted, today the tricolor is waving with pride. The tricolor was hoisted again on the occasion of Republic Day after many years in many sensitive villages, which is giving a new message of peace, development and security.
*Developed India 2047 and ‘Chhattisgarh Anjor’ Vision*
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the true dignity of the tricolor will increase when the country becomes economically strong. In line with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s resolve of Developed India 2047, Chhattisgarh has also set the goal of ‘Developed Chhattisgarh’. For this, the ‘Chhattisgarh Anjor’ vision document has been prepared, which presents the roadmap for the overall development of the state.
Chief Minister Shri Sai appealed to all citizens to actively participate in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign and remember the heroes of the freedom struggle by hoisting the tricolor at their homes.
*Grand Tiranga Yatra – A wonderful confluence of unity and enthusiasm*
It is noteworthy that a grand Tiranga Yatra was organized in Raipur under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign being run on the call of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai himself participated in the Tiranga Yatra, which started from the Shaheed Smarak Bhawan in Raipur to Telibandha, and gave the message of patriotism by walking shoulder to shoulder with thousands of citizens. The entire route resonated with the slogans of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Vande Mataram’ during the yatra.
On this occasion, Raipur MP Shri Brijmohan Agarwal said that the tricolor is our honor, campaign and identity. Tiranga Yatras are being taken out across the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, Chhattisgarh is progressing towards progress and prosperity. This Tiranga Yatra is dedicated to those brave soldiers who sacrificed everything to protect it. Former soldiers of the state who made significant contributions in various military operations were also honored in the program.
MLA Shri Kiran Singh Deo said that the tricolor is our identity and our greatest strength. It unites us and reminds us that we are all one India. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji and under the guidance of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai ji, Chhattisgarh is rapidly moving on the path of development.
