Raipur, May 28, 2025/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai paid homage to the great freedom fighter Veer Savarkar by offering flowers on his photograph at his residence office here today. On this occasion, Industry Minister Shri Lakhanlal Dewangan, Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade, MLA Shri Dharamlal Kaushik and public representatives were also present.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the entire life of Veer Savarkar was dedicated to the service of the motherland and the reconstruction of the nation. Veer Savarkar was not only a leading warrior of the freedom struggle, but he was also a social reformer, historian, writer and visionary statesman. He raised his voice against social orthodoxies and laid the foundation of modern India.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the harshest years of Savarkar ji spent in the Cellular Jail are proof of his indomitable courage, patriotism and mental fortitude. His sacrifice is inscribed in golden letters in the history of the Indian freedom struggle.
Chief Minister Shri Sai appealed to the people of the state to take inspiration from the ideas and values of Veer Savarkar and move forward, considering the service of the nation as their paramount duty. The life of Veer Savarkar is a living example of self-sacrifice, dedication and patriotism for every Indian.
