    The new building has been constructed in Rajnandgaon at a cost of Rs 9 crore.

    Raipur, May 16, 2025 / Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today inaugurated the new building of the Government Regional Printing Press, constructed at a cost of Rs 9 crore in Chikhli, Rajnandgaon district. Important documents of government departments are published here. The Chief Minister also inspected the newly constructed building of the Government Printing Press and its publication and other arrangements.

    The Government Regional Printing Press building in Rajnandgaon is the only government printing press in Chhattisgarh where important government documents are published. A new building was felt necessary as the old building of the printing press was very old.

    The new building of the Government Printing Press has a paper godown, printing material store, binding and paper store, mechanical store, composing and reading room, type store, camera room, Assistant Superintendent’s room, Director’s room, conference room and other necessary arrangements. It has 4 large halls and 12 rooms.

    On this occasion, Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Deputy Chief Minister and Minister-in-charge of the district Shri Vijay Sharma, MP Shri Santosh Pandey, Mayor Shri Madhusudan Yadav along with other public representatives and officers and employees of the Government Printing Press were present.
