    The yardstick for the success of schemes is not just progress on paper, but the feeling of satisfaction and security on the faces of the beneficiaries – Chief Minister

    Raipur, May 16, 2025/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, in a high-level review meeting held in the Rajnandgaon District Panchayat meeting hall under the Good Governance Festival (Sushasan Tihar), gave strict instructions to officials regarding regular visits and field stays in rural areas for development and public service, and timely operation of revenue courts.

    Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the dream of a developed Chhattisgarh will only be realized when officials remain connected to the ground reality and the problems of the people are resolved directly in their presence. For this, all Commissioners, Collectors and other senior officers should regularly visit and stay in their subordinate districts and blocks, and ensure physical monitoring of development works being carried out in the area, while strengthening the culture of accountability.

    Chief Minister Shri Sai directed the revenue officials to ensure the regular operation of the revenue courts. Along with this, each officer should work according to the pre-determined court calendar. Only in very special circumstances should the court date be cancelled. This will not only provide timely justice to the common people, but will also bring transparency in administrative work.

    The Chief Minister also said that the backbone of good governance is that officials maintain public relations, are present among the people, and resolve their problems quickly. This will not only strengthen the feeling of trust, but will also increase the credibility of the government.

    Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, in a joint review meeting held today in the meeting hall of the District Panchayat Bhawan in Rajnandgaon district, reviewed the development works of Rajnandgaon, Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki and Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandaai districts under the Good Governance Festival. Chief Minister Shri Sai gave clear instructions to the officials in the meeting to ensure effective implementation of the schemes at the ground level and that the benefits reach every eligible beneficiary on time.

    Chief Minister Shri Sai said that wide publicity should be given to health schemes so that the common people get information about the schemes on time and they can avail its benefits. Regular camps should be organized for speedy disposal of revenue cases. The pending demands of all housing schemes, including the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, should be resolved 100%. Along with this, coordination and transparency should be maintained in the implementation of public welfare schemes of the government in the districts, and timely action should be taken.

    Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the purpose of Good Governance Festival is to ensure the access of governance and administration to the village, the poor and the last person in the line. He said that the yardstick for the success of schemes is not just progress on paper, but the feeling of satisfaction and security on the faces of the beneficiaries.

    Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said that the state government has successfully implemented most of the announcements given under the guarantee of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi at the ground level. He appreciated the good work being done by the officials in all the districts and said that the administration should work with dedication and coordination in accordance with the expectations of the people.

    The Chief Minister directed to ensure the availability of fertilizers and seeds to the farmers on time and said that keeping in mind the upcoming Kharif season, pre-preparation should be ensured in all the districts according to the needs of the farmers. Also, he directed the officials to arrange for quick disposal of pending revenue cases by holding camps so that common citizens can get timely solutions.

    He informed that the state government has launched Atal Seva Kendras in 1460 panchayats. With the smooth operation of these centers, rural citizens will not need to go elsewhere for banking, document and digital services. The Chief Minister entrusted the responsibility of effective operation of these centers to the concerned officers and directed that public convenience should be given top priority from them.
