Raipur, August 10, 2025/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai has paid homage on the death anniversary of the late Minimate, Chhattisgarh’s first female MP and social worker. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Minimate dedicated her entire life to the protection and upliftment of the rights of the deprived sections of society, women, Dalits and the poor.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Minimate strongly raised her voice against social evils, child marriage, dowry system and untouchability and made a significant contribution towards several important social reforms while in Parliament. Her work style always reflected service, simplicity and sensitivity.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the life of Minimate is a unique example of struggle and service, which will continue to inspire future generations to work towards equality, justice and brotherhood in society. He appealed to everyone that we all adopt her ideals and contribute to the creation of a just and inclusive society.
