Raipur, September 29, 2025/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai reached Godriwala Dham located in Devpuri, Raipur late last night, where he participated in the 34th anniversary festival of Sant Shiromani Baba Hardas Ram Sahib Ji and paid obeisance to the saint tradition.
Chief Minister Shri Sai bowed his head before the statue of Sant Gela Ram Sahib Ji installed at Shri Godriwala Dham and wished for the happiness, prosperity and well-being of the people of the state.
Addressing the program, Chief Minister Shri Sai said – “It is my great fortune that I got the opportunity to participate in the anniversary festival of Sant Shiromani Baba Hardas Ram Sahib Ji. I am getting the benefit of the darshan of revered saints who have come from all over the country. I wish that the blessings of the saints always remain on Chhattisgarh and there is happiness and prosperity in every household.”
The Chief Minister warmly welcomed and felicitated the saints and Mahatmas from all over the country who attended the anniversary festival on the holy land of Chhattisgarh. He said that the entire life of Shri Godriwala Sant Baba Hardas Ram Ji has been a source of inspiration for human service, renunciation and dedication. This land of Chhattisgarh has been blessed by his footsteps.
He also mentioned that the free eye check-up camps, health camps and blood donation camps organized from time to time in the Dham premises are a living example of the teachings and ideals of Saint Baba Hardas Ram Ji. The Chief Minister said that this anniversary festival is not just a religious event, but a celebration of devotion, unity and social service.
Addressing the saint community, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Chhattisgarh is the maternal home of Mata Kaushalya and the maternal home of Lord Shri Ram. He said that Kuleshwar Mahadev, established by Lord Shri Ram and Mata Sita in Rajim, is still present. Lord Shri Ram spent about 10 years out of his 14 years of exile on the holy land of Chhattisgarh. The people of the state still consider Lord Shri Ram as their nephew.
The Chief Minister said that the state government is running ‘Shri Ramlala Darshan Yojana’ to provide darshan of Lord Shri Ram to the devotees. Under this scheme, more than 22 thousand devotees visited Ayodhya and had darshan of Shriram Lala last year.
Along with the Chief Minister in the anniversary festival, MLA Shri Motilal Sahu, MLA Shri Purandar Mishra, Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Food and Civil Supplies Corporation Shri Sanjay Srivastava, Chairman of Raipur Development Authority Shri Nand Kumar Sahu, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce Shri Anil Thaurani, Shri Lalit Jaisingh, Shri Shrichand Sundrani and many public representatives and a large number of people of the society were present.
