    Chief Minister Pays Tribute to Martyred ASP Shri Akash Rao Girpunje: Gave Last Farewell by Carrying the Body on His Shoulder

    Raipur, June 10, 2025/Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today paid a heartfelt tribute to ASP Shri Akash Rao Girpunje, who was martyred in a cowardly IED blast by Naxalites in Konta of Sukma district, and gave him a final farewell. Chief Minister Shri Sai reached the fourth battalion of Chhattisgarh Armed Forces complex located in Mana and paid his respects by offering a wreath on the mortal remains of the martyr and gave a respectful farewell by carrying the martyr’s body on his shoulder.

    Chief Minister Shri Sai met the bereaved family members of martyr Shri Girpunje and expressed his deep condolences and consoled them in this difficult time. The Chief Minister said that martyr ASP Shri Akash Rao Girpunje made the supreme sacrifice while demonstrating indomitable courage, integrity and dedication towards his duty. We are proud of him. The government stands shoulder to shoulder with his family in this hour of grief.

    Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the Naxalites are furious with the successful operations of the security forces. The Chhattisgarh government is fully committed to deal with this challenge. He said that the bravery and patriotism of martyr Shri Girpunje will always be remembered.

    Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao, Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap, Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade, MLA Shri Purandar Mishra, Additional Chief Secretary Home Department Shri Manoj Kumar Pingua, Director General of Police Shri Arun Dev Gautam, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Subodh Kumar Singh, relatives of the martyr, public representatives and a large number of आम नागरिक were present on this occasion with the Chief Minister.
