On Chhattisgarh State Foundation Day, offered prayers to Chhattisgarh Mahtari and wished for the prosperity of the state’s residents.
Raipur, November 1, 2025 / On the historic occasion of completing 25 years of Chhattisgarh State formation, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today paid homage by garlanding the statue of Chhattisgarh Mahtari at the Collectorate premises in the capital Raipur. He wished for the happiness, prosperity, and all-round development of the state’s residents.
In accordance with Chhattisgarh’s traditional folk culture, Chief Minister Shri Sai offered prayers and paid homage to Chhattisgarh Mahtari, the symbol of the state’s heritage, culture, womanhood, and self-respect. He said that Chhattisgarh Mahtari is a symbol of our identity, faith, and pride.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that this land is one of worship of womanhood, and it is with the blessings of Chhattisgarh Mahtari that the state is continuously progressing. Extending his best wishes for the state festival to the residents, he said that the state government is committed to the overall development of the state. The state government is operating many schemes for the improvement of the living standards of the common people, women empowerment, agricultural development, employment for youth, upliftment of tribal society, and cultural preservation.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the silver jubilee year is a symbol of new energy and resolve for the state. Today is a particularly proud moment because Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is arriving in Chhattisgarh today, and many historic programs are going to take place on the state foundation day. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that with the blessings of Chhattisgarh Mahtari, the state will surely establish a strong identity among the leading and prosperous states of the country in the coming times.
