Chief Minister inaugurated Kisan Call Center to bring agricultural revolution in Jashpur
Farmers will be able to sell their crops directly by scanning QR code, will get rid of middlemen
Raipur, Under the agricultural revolution campaign being run for the benefit of the farmers of the district, Kisan Call Center Agribid and G Com India based on QR code were launched by Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai from his private residence office located in Bagia today to simplify the market system. In this program, former Union Minister Shri Arjun Munda, Vice President of Sarguja Area Tribal Development Authority Smt. Gomti Sai, MLA Jashpur Smt. Raymuni Bhagat, District Panchayat President Shri Salik Sai and other dignitaries were present.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that a suitable environment is available in the district for horticulture crops along with agriculture. At present, crops like mango, litchi, pear, tea, tau, jackfruit are also being produced in abundance in the district. In such a situation, due to lack of market options for the farmers, they had to sell their crops to the middlemen at throwaway prices, now with the help of QR code, the farmers of the district will be able to sell their crops to any person sitting in any corner of the country due to direct access and selling system to the uparjakas, due to which the farmers will get rid of unnecessary middlemen, coachies like people and they will get the right price for their crop. Farmers will get help on any problem from the experts from the call center. These two initiatives will bring a revolutionary change in the field of agriculture and the income of the farmers will increase due to getting the right price.
He informed that in collaboration with NDDB, to promote milk production, training of animal husbandry is also being given to the villagers along with the distribution of high quality milch animals under a pilot project in 06 districts of the state.
Vice President of Sarguja Area Tribal Development Authority Smt. Gomti Sai said that the call center started for the farmers will prove to be a milestone for the development of agriculture in the district, the farmers will get its far-reaching results. MLA Jashpur Smt. Raymuni Bhagat said that along with pear, litchi, jackfruit crop is also produced in abundance in the district. For its processing and development, Jackfruit Mela was also organized in Jashpur in the past. In such a situation, with these new initiatives, farmers will be able to export products at the right price along with production.
The Chief Minister flagged off the farmers for educational tour
To encourage farmers for innovative agriculture and agricultural development, a team of 35 farmers was flagged off by Chief Minister Shri Sai for educational tour of Raipur and Durg under Krishi Kranti and Atma Yojana. It includes 15 farmers of Kunkuri and 20 of Kansabel. These farmers will go there and get information about scientific methods of farming and food processing, which they will be able to adopt in the district. BNR Seed Raipur and Indus Mega Food Park Raipur will provide information to the farmers during this visit.

Through this Kisan Call Center, the farmers of the district will be able to get solutions to the questions and problems related to farming from the experts. For this, an MoU was also signed between the district administration and Agribid in the presence of Chief Minister Shri Sai today. With this call center, along with providing information about various schemes to the farmers, people will also be encouraged to take advantage of the scheme. Through this, the farmers will also be able to convey their problems to the authorities without any delay, so that the farmers can get direct redressal of their small problems. Farmers’ products of the district will get buyers from all over the country
With the QR code of G Com India, the farmers of the district will be able to trade by directly contacting the buyers from any corner of the country. With this campaign being run by the district administration, the farmers of the district will be able to contact all the mandis of the entire country without depending on the local mandi. Buyers sitting in any corner of the country will be able to get information about the product available with the farmer through the app and also contact them and do business. Through this app, if the quantity of the product is not available with any individual farmer, then he can add the quantity available with his fellow farmers of the community and make it available to the buyer, this will ensure the collective development of all. With this campaign, farmers will get the right price for their oilseeds, pulses, cash crops at home along with paddy. The farmer will only have to provide the quantity and information of the crops available with him.
