Under the ‘Shri Ramlala Darshan Yojana,’ the first special train for the financial year 2025-26 is scheduled to leave from Raipur Railway Station on July 15, 2025, heading to Ayodhya Dham. This initiative, spearheaded by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, is part of the state’s silver jubilee celebrations. The journey will be inaugurated by the Chief Minister himself, with the presence of various dignitaries including ministers, MPs, and railway officials. The scheme, aimed at providing residents with a lifetime opportunity to visit the sacred Ayodhya Dham, saw a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board and IRCTC on February 23, 2024.
