Raipur, July 10, 2025/ Young athlete Animesh Kujur of Chhattisgarh has set a new national record for India by completing the 100-meter race in just 10.18 seconds at the Dromia International Sprint Meet held in Athens, Greece. Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai congratulated him on his historic achievement by posting on the social media handle ‘X’.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that it is a moment of immense pride and happiness for all of us that Animesh Kujur of Chhattisgarh has set a new national record by completing the 100-meter race in just 10.18 seconds at the Dromia International Sprint Meet held in Greece. Earlier, Animesh had also set another national record by completing the 200-meter race in 20.32 seconds at the Asian Athletics Championships held in South Korea. Congratulating the young player Animesh, he said that your historic achievement will inspire every youth to move forward. Chhattisgarh is proud of you.
