Chhattisgarh Sons Murder Mother’s Live-in Partner in a Fit of Rage

A gruesome murder has shaken the Durg district of Chhattisgarh. Two sons have been arrested for the murder of their mother’s lover in Ahivara Ward 3. The victim, identified as Balwinder alias Bunti, was allegedly in a live-in relationship with the sons’ mother. Police have taken the body for a post-mortem examination. The sons claim Balwinder was in a relationship with their mother, who had separated from her husband. After the separation, she and Balwinder started living together. This arrangement was vehemently opposed by the sons, leading to regular arguments. The fatal incident unfolded late Tuesday night. Balwinder’s frequent visits to the house were another point of contention for the sons. Adding to the tension, the sons suspected Balwinder of infidelity. This suspicion also led to conflicts between the woman and Balwinder. The dispute escalated on Tuesday night, culminating in an attack by Trilochan and Bhupesh. Trilochan used a shovel, while Bhupesh used a stick, inflicting fatal injuries on Balwinder. Balwinder died at the scene. The Nandini police responded immediately and secured the body for a post-mortem at the district hospital. Following the initial investigation, the police detained the sons. During questioning, they admitted to the crime. Authorities believe the murder stemmed from domestic issues, including the mother’s separation from her husband, her live-in relationship with Balwinder, and concerns about his behavior. A murder case has been registered, and the investigation is ongoing.
