A violent crime unfolded in Kawardha, Chhattisgarh, where a man stands accused of murdering his father and aunt. The suspect reportedly used an iron crowbar to commit the heinous acts. The police have taken the accused into custody following the incident and are conducting an inquiry. The location of the crime is reported to be the village of Indori, under the jurisdiction of the Piparia police station in Kawardha district. Ramkumar Kathle, 38 years old, is the individual accused of the murders, which occurred on Sunday. He is alleged to have used a crowbar to attack and kill his father, Narayan Kathle, and his aunt, Phufu Dharmin Bai. Upon receiving notification of the event, law enforcement personnel from the Piparia police station went to the site and conducted a formal investigation, sending the deceased individuals’ bodies for post-mortem analysis. After the suspect was arrested, the authorities began an interrogation that revealed that a disagreement about property division was the trigger. During the dispute, the suspect is said to have attacked his father with the crowbar. The aunt, who intervened in an attempt to end the argument, was also assaulted with the same weapon. Both victims succumbed to their injuries on the spot. A formal complaint has been filed against the suspect under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code. The police, under the leadership of Inspector Amit Kashyap, have documented the incident, filed the necessary reports, registered a case, and detained the suspect while the investigation continues.
