Chhattisgarh is set to receive a major infrastructure upgrade. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai held discussions with Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, leading to the approval of several road projects. The meeting focused on accelerating infrastructure development, with a focus on projects valued at over ₹7,000 crore. The Union Minister instructed officials to expedite financial approvals for the ongoing projects.
Under the Central Road Fund (CRF), ₹600 crore was allocated for road construction and upgrades. This will facilitate the development of improved road networks throughout Chhattisgarh. The plan includes the construction of four significant bridges to reduce congestion in Raipur. Roads connecting Raipur to other districts will be widened, improving connectivity and safety.
