The Chhattisgarh High Court commemorated its silver jubilee with a ceremony led by Governor Ramechandra Deka. The Governor praised the court for its service, underlining its role as a protector of citizens’ rights and a guardian of justice. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai reiterated the government’s dedication to providing justice promptly. The event also marked the release of a special commemorative publication. The celebration was attended by key figures, including the Governor and the Chief Minister, who were welcomed with traditional honors. High Court judges, along with Union Minister of State Tokhan Sahu, were also recognized. The Deputy Chief Ministers, several ministers, and former Governor Ramesh Bais, also participated in the celebration, underscoring the significance of the occasion. Governor Deka expressed immense honor in addressing the gathering, reflecting on the court’s establishment alongside the formation of the state in 2000, and its subsequent evolution as a key institution of justice.
