Ravindra Kumar Agrawal was sworn in as a permanent judge of the Chhattisgarh High Court earlier today. Chief Justice Ramesh Sinha presided over the oath-taking ceremony held in the court. The event saw the presence of all the judges of the Chhattisgarh High Court, Bilaspur.
The appointment follows a notification issued on August 7, 2025, by the Department of Legal and Legislative Affairs in New Delhi, officially confirming Justice Ravindra Kumar Agrawal’s permanent position.
The swearing-in was attended by key legal figures, including Advocate General Prafulla N. Bharat, Deputy Solicitor General Ramakant Mishra, the President of the High Court Advocates Association Umakant Chandel, along with senior advocates, High Court Advocates Association officials, advocates, and judicial officers from the Registry, Judicial Academy, and Legal Services Authority.
