In Bemetara district, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai emphasized the government’s commitment to comprehensive development and public welfare. He stated that the state government’s initiatives in the past 18 months are designed to make Chhattisgarh a national model. The Chief Minister was addressing a large public meeting at the stadium in Dadhi, Bemetara.
He highlighted the swift implementation of the government’s promises, including providing 18 lakh houses to the poor and ensuring that farmers receive Rs 3100 per quintal for paddy, along with the pending bonus. The government is also focused on women’s empowerment, with 70 lakh women benefiting from the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, receiving Rs 1000 monthly. Furthermore, Atal Seva Kendras have been established to improve access to citizen services through digital empowerment of panchayats.
A total of 48 development projects worth Rs 102 crore were inaugurated and had their foundation stones laid in Bemetara. This included the inauguration of 22 projects worth Rs 35.76 crore and the laying of the foundation stone for 26 projects worth Rs 66.91 crore. The Chief Minister also announced a provision of Rs 5 lakh for CC road construction in each of the 20 gram panchayats.
Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao announced a grant of Rs 1.25 crore for the construction of an office building for Dadhi Nagar Panchayat. He stated that all government schemes prioritize villages, the poor, and farmers. Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh added that the government aims to bring positive changes to the lives of all sections of society.
