In a harrowing incident from Pakhunjur, Chhattisgarh, a family of five attempted suicide by ingesting poison. The event took place in PV 70 Shantinagar village, located within the Chandanpur Gram Panchayat area under the jurisdiction of the Partapur police station. Sadly, three children did not survive the ordeal, succumbing to the effects of the poison before they could receive medical care. Their parents are currently in serious condition and are undergoing treatment at the Civil Hospital Pakhunjur. The children who passed away were identified as Varsha Bairagi (11), Dipti Bairagi (7), and Devraj Bairagi (5). The motive behind the family’s actions is under investigation.
