Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai is currently visiting Janjgir-Champa district, where he is set to conduct a meeting of the Scheduled Caste Development Authority at the Zilla Panchayat meeting room. Before heading to Janjgir-Champa, the Chief Minister spoke to the media at the helipad, accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao, Minister Tankram Verma, and MLA Guru Khushwant Saheb. During the media briefing, the Chief Minister shared details about the meeting, indicating that the Scheduled Caste Authority meeting is arranged in Janjgir. MLA Khushwant Saheb holds the position of Vice-Chairman in the Scheduled Caste Development Authority. Several issues are slated for discussion during the meeting, which will see the participation of several officials from the Scheduled Caste Development Authority. The Chief Minister also commented on the tariff increases initiated by Trump, expressing his unexpected reaction. The Chhattisgarh government is actively involved in the mineral sector, according to the Chief Minister. He mentioned that Chhattisgarh possesses abundant mineral wealth, and its exploitation will generate royalties for the state. Regarding changes to the half electricity bill scheme, the Chief Minister mentioned that they are moving from the half electricity bill to free electricity. The Prime Minister’s Solar Free Electricity Scheme includes subsidies from the Indian government for homes, along with subsidies from the state, with a total cost of 108,000. The government is working to secure bank financing for this initiative.
