Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai of Chhattisgarh engaged in discussions with key figures from the Korea International Trade Association (KITA) in Seoul. The meeting focused on fostering economic cooperation and exploring avenues for investment, technology transfer, and skill development within Chhattisgarh. The discussions took place with KITA Chairman Jin Sik Yoon and Vice President Kim Ki Hyun, representing the largest trade body in South Korea, which boasts over 77,000 members. Chief Minister Sai presented Chhattisgarh’s industrial policy, highlighting the state’s strengths in terms of natural resources and a skilled workforce. He emphasized the potential for collaboration in various sectors, including investment, technology transfer, and skill development. The Chief Minister noted the significant cultural and historical connections between South Korea and Chhattisgarh, envisioning the talks as a gateway to enhanced investment, technological partnerships, and skill development initiatives. These developments are anticipated to offer modern industrial opportunities to the youth, consequently accelerating the industrial advancement of the state. He affirmed the government’s dedication to providing a favorable climate for investors, including streamlined approvals and necessary infrastructure. KITA’s leadership expressed interest in Chhattisgarh’s investment-friendly environment and resources, indicating Korean companies’ eagerness to invest and form strong partnerships.
