Celebrating the state’s 25th anniversary, Modi inaugurated developmental projects worth over Rs 14,260 crore, marking a significant stride in the state’s journey. He specifically praised the extensive reach of electricity and internet services to all villages, alongside the successful implementation of the Ujjwala scheme, which now benefits poor and tribal families. The transformation of rural connectivity was a major point of focus, with Modi noting the development of a 40,000 km road network that has bridged previously inaccessible areas. A significant portion of his address was dedicated to housing initiatives, including the inauguration of 3.51 lakh homes under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and the release of Rs 1,200 crore for rural housing beneficiaries. Honoring the state’s rich history, Modi unveiled a statue of Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh and inaugurated a museum dedicated to tribal freedom fighters. The eco-friendly, solar-powered new Chhattisgarh Vidhan Sabha building was also a centerpiece of the inaugurations.
