This will ensure that strict steps are taken to stop illegal excavation and transportation of sand, so that sand can be made available to the general public at reasonable rates. Along with this, strict compliance with environmental and safety standards will be ensured in sand excavation. In the proposed rules, the process of sand mine allocation will be done through electronic auction. This will also increase revenue.

This arrangement will be helpful to avoid the irregularities that had come to light in the Bharatmala project and Arpa Bhainsajhar of Bilaspur. Similarly, the provision of multiplying the valuation of converted land in rural areas by two and a half times the irrigated land will be abolished, and the rates for lands in villages adjacent to the urban boundary and lands in the investment area will be determined in square meters.
