The Chhattisgarh BJP is set to host a three-day Chintan Shivir in Mainpat from July 7th to 9th. The event will be inaugurated by BJP National President JP Nadda, and Union Home Minister Amit Shah will grace the closing session. Key attendees will include the Chief Minister, all ministers, legislators, and Members of Parliament.
Accommodation has been arranged for the participants. The Circuit House will host the Chief Minister, while the Speaker of the Assembly will be accommodated in the Forest Department’s guest house. Various hotels and resorts have been booked, including Shaila Resort (for the CM, ministers, and former ministers), Karma Ethnic and Dev Heritage (for MPs and senior MLAs), Anmol Resort (for staff), Central Point and Pitambara Hotel (additional lodging), and Dolma Resort (for key officials). The focus will be on training and organizational discussions, with training sessions planned for ministers, MPs, and MLAs covering organizational direction, administrative coordination, and policy making.
The administration is also making preparations. The Sarguja Collector, SP, and Sitapur MLA have already inspected the site. Following the successful model in Pachmarhi, this event in Mainpat is poised to be pivotal in determining the organizational and political trajectory of the Chhattisgarh BJP. The camp will also serve as a platform to strategize for the 2028 assembly elections.
