In a bizarre turn of events in Masturi, Bilaspur, a woman abandoned her husband just 20 days after their wedding and fled with her lover. The incident occurred in a manner that mirrored a dramatic scene from a movie.
The husband, who had gone to bring his wife home from her first visit to her parents’ house, was ambushed on the road by three men. The men stopped the couple’s motorcycle and brutally attacked the husband. The wife then shockingly joined one of the attackers on their motorcycle and left the scene. The incident took place under the jurisdiction of the Torwa police station. The victim, Ankit Mahilange, had only been married for three weeks.
After the wedding, his wife, Ranjita Joshi, had gone to her maternal home. While returning, they were attacked by three men.
