*Chief Minister holds meeting with officials of Balod, Narayanpur and Kanker districts*
Raipur, May 28, 2025/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai today held a meeting with the officials of Balod, Narayanpur and Kanker districts in the meeting hall of the Joint District Office, Balod, under the Su-Shasan Tihar and thoroughly reviewed the updated status of implementation of government schemes. On this occasion, the Chief Minister expected all the officers to actively participate in realizing the vision of a developed Chhattisgarh by working with dedication and responsibility.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that under the third phase of Su-Shasan Tihar, continuous inspection of various areas of the state and meetings with officers are being conducted to evaluate the actual progress of the schemes. He said that the positive feedback received from the general public is proof that the benefits of the works done by the state government in the last one and a half years have reached the last person in the society.
Connecting cleanliness with public participation, Chief Minister Shri Sai directed the officers to take special interest in cleanliness and ensure quick disposal of cleanliness-related applications received during Su-Shasan Tihar. He said that the positive impact of the Swachh Bharat Mission launched by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is being seen throughout the state.
The Chief Minister directed the officers to regularly visit and inspect the construction and development works, as well as to quickly resolve public problems. The Chief Minister emphasized the need to encourage farmers to adopt crop rotation. He directed to formulate necessary strategies to promote sugarcane in Balod district and pulses-oilseeds in Kanker and Narayanpur districts.
The Chief Minister, while emphasizing on the disposal of revenue cases, said that unnecessary delay causes dissatisfaction among the public. He directed to ensure regular dates of revenue courts at the district and tehsil levels and to dispose of all pending cases in a time-bound manner. Revenue officers were also directed to complete the demarcation work before the rains. The Chief Minister directed to promote livelihood activities, focus special attention on the Drone Didi program and complete infrastructure development works within the quality and time frame.
The Chief Minister directed to quickly dispose of the applications received regarding income, caste and residence certificates and to organize special camps to provide necessary certificates, especially to the students.
Chief Minister Shri Sai expressed dissatisfaction over the examination results of Balod district and directed to immediately adopt corrective measures. He stressed the need for 100% implementation of centrally sponsored schemes like Ayushman Bharat, Har Ghar Jal, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also shared information about the construction of a 400/220/132 kV high-pressure sub-center at a cost of Rs 500 crore in Deori and Daundilohara of Balod district and the construction of Junwani to Chikhli road मार्ग at a cost of Rs 11.47 crore.
Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Subodh Singh, Secretary to the Chief Minister Dr. Basavaraju S., Commissioner of Durg Division Shri Satya Narayan Rathore, Commissioner of Bastar Division Shri Doman Singh, Balod Collector Smt. Divya Umesh Mishra, Kanker Collector Shri Nilesh Kshirsagar, Narayanpur Collector Smt. Pratishtha Mamgai, Superintendent of Police of the concerned districts and other senior officers were present in the meeting.
