Raipur, August 18, 2025/ On the initiative of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, “Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan” will be launched in Chhattisgarh from September 17 to October 2, 2025. The objective of this campaign, which is being conducted in many states including Chhattisgarh, is to ensure effective implementation of government schemes in tribal areas with a spirit of service, dedication and good governance.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has said that under the Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan, tribal families are to be benefited from basic facilities, so this work should be given top priority. Under this campaign, 28 districts, 128 development blocks and 6,650 tribal-dominated villages of the state have been included. More than 1,33,000 cadres (NGOs, volunteers, panchayat representatives, youth and service-minded organizations) will be prepared at the village level for the operation of the campaign. These cadres will play an important role in the implementation of schemes related to basic facilities like housing, roads, health, education, employment and in the planning of village development.
Training programs under the campaign will be organized in a phased manner at the state, district, block and village levels. “Adi Seva Kendra” will be established in each selected village, which will become the center for encouraging the delivery of government services and public participation. During the entire campaign, ‘Seva Parva’ and ‘Adi Karmayogi Seva Abhiyan’ will be conducted through ‘Adi Seva Kendra’. Local public representatives will also have an important role in this work.
According to the detailed guidelines prescribed by the Tribal Caste Development and Scheduled Caste Development Department, Backward Class and Minority Development Department, NGOs, CSOs and local volunteers will be selected in the districts and trained. Along with this, “Tribal Village Vision 2030” of the villages will also be constructed. During this time, complaint redressal camps, public awareness campaigns and “Tribal Service Day” will be organized.
