    Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister and other public representatives will lead the procession.

    Raipur, May 16, 2025/ Under the Citizens for National Security campaign, a grand Tiranga Yatra will be organized on May 17th in every village, town, and panchayat throughout the state. This Yatra is being organized with the resolve of citizen participation in the security of the country, in which the participation of public representatives to common citizens has been ensured.

    The Chief Minister of the state, Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, the Deputy Chief Minister, and Ministers themselves will participate in this state-wide Yatra. Members of Parliament, Members of Legislative Assembly, District and Janpad Panchayat Presidents, members, and Panchayat representatives and other public representatives have also been invited to this event. The Yatra will be led by a banner titled ‘Citizens for National Security’ and along with it, the authorized logo of Operation Sindoor will be prominently displayed. The main attraction of the Yatra will be large banners like “We are with the Army” and “Nation with Operation Sindoor,” which will awaken the feeling of patriotism in the minds of citizens.

    On this occasion, while appreciating the contribution of the country’s armed forces and paramilitary forces, placards with messages of India’s victory, thanks to the armed forces and soldiers, and their families will be in the hands of the people. A special request has been made to include ex-servicemen, families of soldiers, students of schools, NCC, NSS, Scouts, and people associated with social organizations in the Yatra. District administration and Panchayat representatives have been instructed to ensure that the Yatra is peaceful, disciplined, organized, and enthusiastic. Patriotic songs will be broadcast through announcement vehicles along the route of the Yatra, and patriotic slogans will be raised by the citizens. As a special attraction, long Tirangas will also be a part of the Yatra, for which suitable arrangements will be made in sufficient numbers. Special preparations have been made to ensure that everyone participating in the Tiranga Yatra has the national flag in their hands.

    Chief Minister Shri Sai has said that this Tiranga Yatra of Chhattisgarh will not only strengthen the spirit of patriotism, but it will also set an effective example of the participation of citizens in national security. Through Operation Sindoor, this message will reach every village that the security of the nation is everyone’s shared responsibility. This event is an exemplary effort to empower the enthusiasm of the people of the state, respect for the armed forces, and the feeling of national unity. Chhattisgarh will unite on May 17th to present an example of the country’s security and unity.
