The Chhattisgarh government has made appointments of selected, eligible youth to various government departments as part of the Chief Minister’s Good Governance Fellowship (CMGGF) scheme. An official order has been released by the Ministry outlining the placements. The order confirms that 36 young individuals have been assigned to different departments. The CMGGF scheme was initiated to bolster good governance initiatives within the state.
The two-year curriculum of the scheme is structured into eight phases. The initial phase involved a one-month academic session on public policy, conducted by IIM Raipur for the selected youth. Following this, the second phase, commencing August 18, 2025, will see the fellows deployed to various departments. Here, they will gain a comprehensive understanding of governmental operations while actively contributing to the implementation of developmental policies and programs. The Department of Good Governance and Convergence serves as the nodal department for this program.
