Bima Bharti, a former minister, claimed that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar now struggles with memory, forgetting people quickly. She made these remarks at a TV9 Digital meeting focused on the upcoming elections. Bharti recalled an instance where her daughter, seeking the district council president post, accompanied her to meet Kumar. During the meeting, Kumar reportedly asked who Leshi Singh was, revealing his memory issues, according to Bharti. She asserted that Kumar would not recognize someone after an hour, implying this as a frequent occurrence. Bharti suggested that this condition would hinder Bihar’s development, leading the public to favor Tejashwi Yadav. Bharti also shared her plans to contest the Rupauli seat. She stated that she is preparing to run from the Rupauli seat, while her daughter currently has no plans to contest. Regarding the Dhamdaha seat, currently held by Leshi Singh, Bharti predicted a strong performance by the Mahagathbandhan candidate, stating that the ‘lantern’ symbol will shine brightly there.
