The Jogbani-Danapur Vande Bharat Express was recently inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This marks the beginning of the train’s regular service. On its inaugural run, the train traveled from Jogbani, making stops at Farbisganj, Purnia, Samastipur, Madhepura, Saharsa, and Patna before reaching Danapur late in the night.
The train is set to begin its regular schedule on September 17th. The railway authorities have finalized the fare structure for the Danapur-Jogbani Vande Bharat Express, and bookings have opened. Passengers traveling from Danapur to Jogbani will need to pay ₹1320 for Chair Car (CC) and ₹2375 for Executive Class (EC) travel.
Departure from Danapur: 5:10 PM.
Fares for travel from Danapur include ₹490 for CC and ₹925 for EC to Muzaffarpur; ₹555 for CC and ₹1060 for EC to Samastipur; ₹925 for CC and ₹1600 for EC to Khagaria; and ₹1185 for CC and ₹2120 for EC to Purnia. The Vande Bharat Express, numbered 26302, will depart from Danapur at 5:10 PM starting September 17th.

The train’s route includes Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Hasanpur Road, Salouna, Khagaria, Saharsa, Dauram Madhepura, Banmankhi, Purnia, Araria Court, and Farbisganj, and it will arrive at Jogbani at 1:20 AM. Train number 26301 will depart from Jogbani at 3:25 AM, following a route through Farbisganj, Araria Court, Purnia, Banmankhi, Dauram Madhepura, Saharsa, Khagaria, Salouna, Hasanpur Road, Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, and Hajipur, and will reach Danapur at 11:30 AM.
The high-speed service is poised to strengthen the connectivity between Seemanchal and Patna. The new train represents a significant improvement for travelers in the Seemanchal and Kosi regions, offering a faster and more comfortable journey compared to previous travel options.
