In Bihar, where Congress MP and Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, is leading a voter rights campaign, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has made a bold statement. Speaking during the campaign’s third day in Nawada, Yadav declared that the next Lok Sabha elections would see the formation of a strong Mahagathbandhan government, with Rahul Gandhi as the next Prime Minister of the country. Yadav strongly criticized the Election Commission, alleging that the BJP, in collaboration with the commission, is trying to steal the votes of the poor. He cited the example of living Lok Sabha members being wrongly declared dead, terming it a conspiracy. Yadav expressed his belief that the BJP would not easily succeed in Bihar. He added that he would unite everyone, regardless of their caste, class, or religion, to build a new Bihar, and also accused Prime Minister Modi of deceiving the people of Bihar. Yadav expressed gratitude to Rahul Gandhi for his visit to Nawada and for awakening the people. He asserted that the time has come to remove the NDA from Bihar and initiate change. Yadav affirmed the commitment to make Rahul Gandhi the Prime Minister in the Lok Sabha, while accusing the opposition of removing names from the voter list to deny essential facilities such as pensions and rations. Rahul Gandhi stated that his party would expose the alleged vote theft, if given the opportunity.
