In the lead-up to the Bihar Assembly elections, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has made a bold claim, asserting that he is the face of the Chief Ministerial candidate and that the India alliance has agreed upon this. He declared that his government would be formed in Bihar and promised to transform the state into Scotland. He also criticized BJP leaders. Yadav stated that his government would not allow politics based on caste or religion.
He commented on Sudhanshu Trivedi and also addressed his brother, Tej Pratap Yadav. Prior to this, Congress leader Kanhaiya Kumar also made a similar statement.
Kanhaiya Kumar stated that if the Mahagathbandhan (Grand Alliance) gets a majority in the assembly elections, the Chief Minister will be from the RJD. The RJD is the largest party in the Grand Alliance, and therefore, the Chief Minister will be from their party.
The political scene in Bihar is already intense, with the ruling and opposition parties engaged in debates. Before announcing the CM face, Tejashwi Yadav made a significant claim that the NDA will be defeated, and a government of the Grand Alliance would be formed. He declared that the Waqf Act would be abolished upon forming the government.
He stated that RJD will oppose this law and has filed a case against it. He urged the Muslim community to remember that the NDA government is about to be ousted. He said a new government would be formed in November, which would support the poor and scrap the Waqf Act.
He said that the BJP should not consider the country as its personal property and that it should remember that the country got its freedom through the sacrifices of Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, and Christians. He also attacked the BJP concerning the special revision of the electoral roll, saying that no attempt to deprive people of their right to vote will succeed.
