During the TV9 Digital Bihar meeting, RJD MP Sudhakar Singh discussed the political landscape in Bihar, with a focus on the upcoming elections. He pointed out the lack of internal democracy across all political parties. Singh remarked on the continuous election atmosphere in Bihar and the national attention it garners. He reflected on the 2020 elections, indicating a close contest where the party lost by a small margin. Singh raised questions about the Election Commission’s Voter List Revision (SIR) process, alleging a new strategy was being employed. He expressed concerns about the transparency of voter list management and questioned the Election Commission’s impartiality. Highlighting the close nature of electoral contests, Singh claimed that the BJP utilizes survey agencies to assess vote share management for electoral success. He noted the initial intention of the Election Commission to exclude a significant percentage of voters from the Bihar voter list, which has been adjusted. Addressing the use of Aadhaar cards in voter list revision, Singh questioned its exclusion, noting the Election Commission’s lack of explanation. He further mentioned that the number of Aadhaar card holders in Bihar exceeds the number of voters, attributing this to the difference in age criteria for Aadhaar and voter card creation. He also added that Aadhaar cards are not made at three locations. He emphasized the role of Aadhaar cards in identifying and removing duplicate voters.
