In a successful operation, Saran police have arrested three individuals planning a robbery near the Sultanganj canal in the Amanour police station area. The police also solved the CSP robbery that occurred just two days prior. Rural SP Sanjay Kumar announced the details during a press briefing.
The Rural SP reported that police received intelligence about criminals planning a major crime near the Sultanganj canal. A police team, under the leadership of Madhaura DSP Naresh Paswan, took immediate action, arresting three suspects and seizing weapons. The arrested individuals were identified as Manish Kumar and Rohit Kumar, both from Dholrahi Kaithal, Amanour, and Prince Kumar from Fulwaria, Maker.
The police confiscated a country-made pistol, live cartridges, sharp knives, a motorcycle used in the CSP robbery, Rs 12,000, the CSP operator’s Aadhaar card, and a photograph. The Rural SP added that the three suspects had previous criminal cases registered against them in the Amanour and Maker police stations.
By arresting the suspects, the police averted a potentially serious crime in the area. Rural SP Sanjay Kumar commended the Madhaura DSP, Amanour Station House Officer, and the entire team for their quick and efficient work, which resulted in the prevention of the robbery plan and the successful resolution of the robbery case.
The recovery of items from the suspects provided crucial evidence to solve the robbery case. A country-made pistol, two live cartridges, a sharp knife, two motorcycles, and other items were recovered from the suspects.
