Rahul Gandhi, during the final day of the Voter Rights Yatra in Bihar, made strong accusations against the BJP concerning alleged vote theft. Gandhi, accompanied by Tejashwi Yadav, asserted that the BJP would face repercussions for their actions. He stated that after dropping an “atom bomb” in Mahadevpura, a “hydrogen bomb” was in the offing, implying that Prime Minister Modi would not be able to show his face to the nation. The yatra was initiated on August 17th to address voter list revisions and address claims of vote manipulation. The journey started from Sasaram and spanned 1300 kilometers, traversing around 25 districts of Bihar before concluding in Patna. The Congress leader emphasized that election theft was carried out in Maharashtra, and the votes of new voters went to the BJP. Gandhi characterized vote theft as a violation of rights, opportunities, and democratic principles, which could lead to the loss of essential resources. He also added that the forces responsible for Mahatma Gandhi’s assassination are now attempting to undermine the Constitution.
