During the Congress’s Voter Rights March in Nawada, Bihar, a concerning incident unfolded when a police officer was involved in a collision with the vehicle transporting Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav. The officer, who was part of the security detail for the march, was struck by the vehicle. Quick-thinking security personnel intervened immediately, directing the driver to move the vehicle backward to assist the officer. Following the event, Rahul Gandhi, a Member of Parliament for the Congress, checked on the well-being of the police officer.
Rahul Gandhi also brought forward allegations of a collaboration between the Election Commission and the BJP, accusing them of working together to steal votes. He declared that the ‘Mahagathbandhan’ coalition would not allow any form of vote theft in Bihar. He made these comments while speaking at a rally at Bhagat Singh Chowk in Nawada.
In his speech, the Congress MP highlighted that the right to vote is a constitutional right. He criticized Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, and the Election Commissioner, claiming they are trying to take away this right. Gandhi, along with Tejashwi and the leaders of the ‘Mahagathbandhan’, affirmed their commitment to preventing any vote manipulation within Bihar.
Rahul Gandhi expressed concerns about a new method of vote theft in Bihar, referring to it as SIR. He cautioned the public about potential consequences, including the seizure of voter cards, followed by ration cards, and ultimately the transfer of land to Adani and Ambani. He reiterated that the country is for the farmers, laborers, and small business owners, and not for Adani and Ambani.
