The Bhagalpur police in Bihar have taken action after provocative slogans were raised, leading to investigation and arrests. A video circulating on social media showed individuals at Bhagalpur Railway Station platform number 01, with a flag and raising slogans. Authorities were alerted to the situation, and initial inquiries were made with local law enforcement, with no immediate success. Subsequent searches were carried out in nearby areas, but the individuals remained unidentified.
Authorities are working to locate the individuals involved. A youth named Arman Hussain is accused of carrying a Palestinian flag and chanting provocative slogans at Bhagalpur Railway Station. According to sources, a large gathering of approximately 4,000-5,000 people occurred near a mosque on Friday to celebrate the birthday of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad.
During this event, one individual, accompanied by a child, began shouting slogans on platform number 01 while carrying a flag. RPF officer Manish Kumar Yadav, on duty, cautioned them. Later, SS Bhagalpur filed a written complaint. Based on this, GRP Bhagalpur has registered a case. A joint team of RPF, GRP, and local police was formed to investigate and apprehend those responsible. On Monday, four minors were taken into custody for questioning by GRP officials. The authorities are actively investigating the incident, and a video of the slogans has been widely shared online.
