During the launch of the State Jeevika Nidhi Credit Cooperative Union Limited for women in Bihar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the public via video conference. He used the opportunity to criticize the Congress and RJD, expressing his distress over the abuse his mother allegedly received from their political platform. He said that this action had deeply hurt the sentiments of every mother in Bihar.
PM Modi elaborated on the newly launched scheme, which aims to provide financial aid to women in Bihar, particularly those involved with the Jeevika program. The digital infrastructure of Jeevika Nidhi was highlighted to ensure easy and efficient access to funds.
The Prime Minister emphasized the vital role of women in building a developed India and their empowerment by alleviating their life’s challenges. He mentioned various government initiatives, including building toilets, constructing houses under the PM Awas Yojana, and providing free rations to alleviate concerns about children’s nutrition. He also mentioned programs such as Lakhpati Didi, Drone Didi, and Bank Sakhi, aimed at increasing women’s income, viewing these as significant efforts to serve mothers and sisters. He also mentioned that the NDA government would intensify these campaigns in the coming months.
Highlighting the respect for mothers in Bihar, PM Modi mentioned the upcoming Navratri festival, which celebrates the nine forms of the mother goddess. He stressed that upholding the dignity and respect of mothers is a key priority for his government.
PM Modi criticized the mindset of those who abuse mothers and sisters, considering women as weak and objects of exploitation.
He directly addressed the RJD-Congress, reflecting on the incident where his mother was allegedly insulted from their platform. He clarified that the insults were an affront to all mothers, sisters, and daughters of the nation. He shared his personal sorrow and acknowledged the collective pain felt by the people of Bihar. He spoke of his longstanding commitment to public service, emphasizing his mother’s support and guidance.
He further criticized the “yuvraaj” born in royal families, stating that they could not comprehend the hardships of a poor mother and her son because they had been born with silver spoons. He added that they see power and authority as their birthright. He called upon people to question RJD-Congress leaders regarding their actions.
