Bhojpuri singer Pawan Singh is making headlines again, but this time, it’s not for his music. His wife, Jyoti Singh, has penned an emotional post on Facebook, detailing her feelings and expressing her pain. The post offers a glimpse into the couple’s strained relationship.
Jyoti Singh’s letter reveals her attempts to connect with her husband. She wrote, ‘Respected husband Pawan Singh Ji, for months, I’ve been trying to discuss family and political matters with you, but you and your associates haven’t deemed it fit to respond to my calls and messages. I even traveled to Lucknow and Dehri to meet you, but you refused, citing instructions from ‘the boss’. My father also tried to meet you two months ago, but there was no positive outcome.’
The post indicates a lack of communication from Pawan Singh’s side. Jyoti Singh further expressed her feelings, stating, ‘What wrong have I done to deserve this punishment? They are playing with the honor of my parents.’
Jyoti Singh further stated, ‘If I wasn’t worthy of you, you should have maintained the distance as before.’ She added, ‘After giving me false hopes and bringing me into the Lok Sabha election, you’ve put me in a situation where I see nothing but self-immolation. But I can’t do that, because the blame will fall on me and my parents.’
Jyoti Singh’s letter includes a reminder of marital duties. She wrote that she has always supported Pawan Singh, and now it’s his turn. She appealed to him, asking that if he doesn’t consider her his wife, to show some humanity. She expressed her hurt at seeing him embrace others while ignoring her. ‘You embrace those who criticize you, but who do I tell my problems to when my own family doesn’t understand me?’
Jyoti Singh concluded the letter with a final plea to Pawan Singh. She expressed her desperation after seven years of struggle, saying, ‘I am beginning to hate my own life.’ She requested that Pawan Singh respond to her calls and messages and understand her pain.
There were recent reports indicating that Jyoti Singh may enter politics and contest in the upcoming assembly elections. Jyoti Singh herself had expressed her interest in contesting from the Dehri assembly seat.
