Rahul Gandhi and other leaders of the Mahagathbandhan will lead a foot march in Patna today, marking the end of the ‘Voter Rights March.’ The march will commence from the Mahatma Gandhi statue at Gandhi Maidan and proceed to the Baba Saheb Ambedkar statue near Patna High Court. Rahul Gandhi, Tejashwi Yadav, other Mahagathbandhan leaders, and supporters will participate in the march.
Sources indicate that the administration has only granted permission for the march up to Dak Bungalow Chauraha. Consequently, there’s a possibility of arguments, protests, and demonstrations between the administration, Mahagathbandhan leaders, and workers if the march is halted.
The march has covered over 110 assembly constituencies across 25 districts, covering a distance of more than 1300 kilometers. Throughout the march, Rahul Gandhi and other leaders have strongly criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and the Election Commission. They have raised slogans of ‘Vote Chor, Gaddi Chhod’ (Vote Thief, Leave the Throne) at various locations.
