The Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar, initiated the expansion of the JP Ganga Path project in Patna. The project, which is expected to cost ₹6495.79 crore, will extend for 35.65 km. This project aims to connect Patna-Ara-Buxar and also improve connectivity to Lucknow-Ghazipur via the Purvanchal Expressway, and the Ara-Mohania National Highway (NH-319).
During the ceremony, the Chief Minister emphasized the importance of timely and quality construction of the Koilwar extension of JP Ganga Path. The expansion is expected to make commuting easier for the residents.
Additionally, the Chief Minister inaugurated five other road projects spanning 225.475 kilometers, costing ₹2,900 crore. These include projects in Banka, Munger, Bhagalpur, Muzaffarpur, Bhojpur, Chhapra, Siwan, and Nawada districts.
