A case of marital discord and betrayal has surfaced in Banka, Bihar, where a woman has abandoned her husband after just four months of marriage. The woman, who was fond of creating video reels, reportedly began a relationship with another man through Instagram. She then left her husband and fled with the man, also taking with her money and jewelry. The husband has lodged a complaint with the local police, accusing his in-laws of aiding in her escape. The husband, Dilip Das, had married the woman on May 16, 2025, in the Rajoun area. He explained that his wife was active on Instagram, creating reels and interacting with an unidentified man. Upon seeing a video of the two together, he suspected his wife was involved in an affair. The husband claims that his in-laws were involved in helping her run away with the man, who hails from Bhagalpur district. Das, who works in Chennai, stated that he had deposited 1.5 lakh rupees in her account, which she also took with her. The woman’s father, however, has accused his son-in-law of being responsible for his daughter’s disappearance. The Rajoun police are currently investigating the matter.
