The NDA is strategizing a unified approach for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections in October-November. The alliance plans to conduct a coordinated campaign, with the Prime Minister playing a central role. PM Modi, as the NDA’s star campaigner, has already commenced his Bihar visits, with a focus on holding large rallies across all Bihar divisions before the elections.
PM Modi has already held rallies and inaugurated government projects in Patna, Saran, and Darbhanga divisions. Plans are in place for the next three rallies, scheduled in Gaya, Begusarai, and Kosi divisions within the coming months. Following these, the NDA plans to organize events in Purnia, Bhagalpur, and Tirhut divisions before the elections are announced. The goal is to connect with voters across the state through these events.
Simultaneously, the government will inaugurate various projects worth thousands of crores. The BJP’s strategy involves highlighting development as the primary election issue, while also emphasizing the alleged corruption and governance issues associated with the RJD.
From July 15 to September 15, the NDA plans to hold joint rallies in all Bihar constituencies, with leaders from both the national and state levels addressing the gatherings. These rallies will follow earlier meetings at the district and block levels.
The NDA’s strategy will be customized based on specific regions. Issues like aggressive Hindutva will be avoided, and the approach towards the Muslim community will be carefully considered. The JDU and LJP will focus on garnering Muslim votes. The NDA will also highlight the alleged insult of Ambedkar by Lalu Yadav, aiming to secure the support of Dalit voters.
