The Bihar government has approved the construction of the Atal Kala Bhawan in Nalanda, as stated by Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary. The project, costing ₹19.73 crore, aims to enhance the state’s cultural infrastructure. The 620-capacity venue is designed to support local artists and cultural groups. The new cultural center is expected to promote cultural activities, boost regional tourism, and provide a state-of-the-art platform for performances, music, dramas, lectures, and other cultural events. This project is a significant step towards preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of Nalanda.
