When a doctor was questioned about the incident, he stated that a patient had arrived whose pet dog had bitten off his ear. Medical Officer Dr. Danish Ahmed stated that the patient, Sandeep Kumar, explained that his dog had been fighting with another dog nearby. Sandeep saved his dog from the fight, brought it into his lap, and began to pet it. It was then that the dog bit off Sandeep’s ear.
