A shocking incident in Patna’s Janipur police station area has revealed that the two children of an AIIMS guard were burned alive. The investigation has now uncovered the reason behind this horrific act. It’s believed that a love affair was the primary motivator. Police are poised to unveil the full details of the case soon. The AIIMS guard, Shobha Devi, had a relationship with someone.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, Shobha Devi ended the relationship. In response, her lover allegedly carried out the heinous crime. Initial reports indicate that the perpetrators suffocated Anjali Kumari, the 14-year-old daughter of guard Shobha Devi, by stuffing a cloth in her mouth. Ansh, Anjali’s brother, was attacked on the head. The attackers then doused both children with kerosene and set them on fire.
The Criminals Remained Inside Until the Children Perished
Reports state that the criminals remained inside the house until the children were completely consumed by the fire. Ansh witnessed the criminals’ actions against Anjali. The perpetrators likely killed Ansh to eliminate him as a witness, fearing he would inform the police. The people involved in the crime were close to Shobha Devi.
Police Apprehend Two Suspects
Two suspects have already been arrested by the police. Four other suspects are being questioned. The police investigation is expected to conclude soon. The police also suspect that the criminals might have committed a heinous act with Anjali before the murder. Vaginal swabs and samples of the burned materials have been sent to the FSL. Anjali’s clothes have also been sent for FSL analysis. The full truth will only be known after the forensic report is released.
